Summer Accelerator

This online school offers summer courses to students with 80 minutes of live classes. They can opt for interesting electives or explore their passions with the summer Passion Academy courses.

Summer sessions last for 3 weeks. This means that students need to complete one week’s work in a day. With this pace, they get 0.5 credits, i.e., it is equivalent to a semester. They are allowed to take a maximum of 1 credit, i.e., a three-week session.

Students can opt for high school courses and earn a credit from The Stony Brook School. Upon completion, students get a Stony Brook School transcript, which includes their grade and the term. These courses improve the student’s chances of being accepted to prestigious universities and programs.

Besides, these courses have a special advantage, as all students enrolled in a Summer Accelerator can take part in the Gravitas signature ‘Character Formation Program’.
